Joanne McNally, a contestant on Celebrity Traitors, was expelled from the castle after the group voted her out during the round-table and then witnessed the identities of the Traitors, prompting her to scream and flee the set.

The comedian had maintained she was a Faithful from the start, but fellow celebrities grew convinced she was a Traitor following several slip-ups. After a re-vote tied with Sharon Rooney, Faithful Joanne was sent home without knowing who the Traitors were.

On the Uncloaked podcast with host Ed Gamble, a sealed letter was handed to her. Upon reading the first name she shrieked, "No... Oh my God! They gave him the dagger as the most honest..." referring to YouTuber King Kenny, and added, "Well now I know why he turned on me at the end. Yeah [I'm surprised]. Oh my God. Wow, that is genuinely terrifying. I actually can't believe that. Did he have training did he go to RADA, or some s***? How the hell has he pulled that off."

She then saw James Acaster's name, jumped out of her seat and tossed the paper. When Maya Jama's name appeared, she gasped, threw the paper again and ran off set shouting, "Oh my God!" Ed reminded her she needed to return to film the rest of her reaction.

Joanne later said, "Oh my God! I am deceased. Honest to God, I actually cannot believe that. Maya... we were building a life together. And James kept voting for me. Oh my God. Wow. Well I can only apologise to Leigh-Anne, who I repeatedly kept throwing under the bus." She affirmed she was a Faithful, thanked the cast and added, "I'm pre-menstrual. I've had such a great time. I am ... a hardcore faithful."

Claudia Winkleman criticized the cast for banishing another Faithful, noting it was the fifth such banishment. Traitor Maya Jama, who had known Joanne was a Faithful, pretended to cry and later told cameras, "Tonight was so mad - I lost my favourite person in this experience, Joanne. She was my ball of fun, love her, I really do and she'll be my friend for life - I hope she feels the same after finding out I'm a traitor."

In the penultimate episode, comedian James Acaster broke down after Faithful Michael Sheen exposed him, leading producers to intervene. The edited BBC One broadcast omitted the most emotional moments. Acaster had struggled as a Traitor alongside Maya Jama and King Kenny, but avoided suspicion until the round-table accusation, where he admitted his role, echoing earlier banishment of Richard E Grant. The stars voted to banish him before he gave an emotional farewell.

An insider explained that James's upset moment was largely unseen, with producers halting filming to assess his state before resuming, and that very little of the incident made the final cut.
