At least 20 people were injured when a school bus loaded with children slammed into a house in Bad Oldesloe, Schleswig-Holstein, at 7.20 am on Friday.
The vehicle entered a roundabout, veered off the road and crashed into the living room of a residential building, trapping several passengers and the driver inside the wreck.
According to News5, the bus also grazed the side of a small car as it careened off the road.
Four individuals sustained serious injuries while the remaining 16 suffered minor wounds.
Both children and adults on board were among those hurt.
Structural engineers will inspect the building to assess any risk of collapse.
