Netflix is set to launch a six-part adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice on December 3, 2026, starring Emma Corrin, Jack Lowden, Olivia Colman and a supporting ensemble. Filming occurred across England in 2025, covering the Peak District, London, East Sussex and other sites.

Emma Corrin

Emma Corrin portrays Elizabeth Bennet, the witty second sister. She initially judges Mr Darcy as proud but later reevaluates him. Corrin is known for her role as Princess Diana in The Crown and appearances in Lady Chatterley's Lover (2022) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024).

Jack Lowden

Jack Lowden plays Fitzwilliam Darcy, a wealthy gentleman whose reserve is mistaken for arrogance. His growing affection for Elizabeth clashes with her low opinion of him and their class differences. Lowden appears as River Cartwright in Slow Horses and has acted in Dunkirk (2017) and Mary Queen of Scots (2018).

Olivia Colman

Olivia Colman takes on Mrs Bennet, determined to secure husbands for her five daughters. Her matchmaking often embarrasses Elizabeth and irritates her husband. Colman's notable credits include The Crown, Broadchurch and The Favourite (2018), for which she earned an Oscar.

Rufus Sewell

Rufus Sewell appears as Mr Bennet, the dry-witted father who prefers to stay out of his wife's matchmaking schemes. He mocks her efforts, though his detachment sometimes creates its own issues. Sewell featured in The Diplomat and portrayed Prince Andrew in Scoop (2024).

Freya Mavor

Freya Mavor plays Jane Bennet, the kind older sister who falls for Mr Bingley, facing obstacles to their romance. Mavor's earlier work includes Skins, Industry and Marie Antoinette.
