The largest Harry Potter shop in the world has now opened as the Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street. Spanning two storeys in London, the new mega store is themed to resemble Diagon Alley from the famous films and has already been visited by actors Tom Felton and Warwick Davis.
Downstairs Attractions and Exclusive Merchandise
Entering the Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street to the right reveals the Gringotts area, which is watched over by a realistic Ukrainian Ironbelly dragon statue. This section houses exclusive items only sold at the Oxford Street location, including hoodies, T-shirts, mugs, socks, and water bottles labelled with Vault 412 to 414. Visitors can also find a cushion of Harry's Hogwarts acceptance letter, cosy pyjamas, Dobby baubles, giant fluffy Hedwigs, customised house robes, and a Honeydukes sweet shop.
Strolling past a Knight Bus recreation leads into Ollivanders, where shoppers can purchase a Diagon Alley themed wand featuring miniature colourful shopfronts stacked along its spine. Escalators with neon lights and themed music take visitors upstairs to more exclusive offerings.
Leaky Cauldron Cafe and Menu
The Leaky Cauldron is a spacious cafe on the upper level featuring themed seating, Daily Prophet newspaper prints, and Sirius Black wanted posters on the walls. The menu offers five types of Butterbeer including classic, frozen, latte, iced latte with fudge pieces, and ice cream, alongside a fresh Butterbeer with a souvenir tankard for £9.50.
Food options include Howler and Acceptance Letter pizza pockets priced at £7.95, soups, pasties, and a stamped Leaky Cauldron toastie. Dessert choices feature blackberry and chocolate cauldron cakes, Gringotts gold bar cakes, Weasley wizard top hat chocolate cakes, and the Golden Snitch strawberries and cream flavoured cheesecake for £12.95.
The Hogwarts Bear Ceremony
The Hogwarts Bear Experience is located past upstairs shelves lined with exclusive MinaLima prints and special teddy bears. Visitors can pre-book a slot online for free to choose a bear, select three personality traits, and place the teddy into a magical sorting cabinet to receive Hogwarts house robes.
The experience costs £75 and includes the bear, a named Hogwarts acceptance certificate, and a presentation box, with optional accessories available for purchase. The Harry Potter Shop Oxford Street operates from 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday, and from 12pm to 6pm on Sundays.
