Filming of The Batman Part II was stopped after a cast member was injured when the Batmobile ran them over during a stunt earlier this month.
A source said, "The Batman films are known for their ambitious scenes but this one went horribly wrong and a cast member ended up being hurt." The person received hospital treatment and is now recovering at home.
The Sun reached out to the individual believed to have been hurt, who did not deny involvement, while Warner Bros did not comment.
Production has since continued at Leavesden Studios in Hertfordshire, with British actor Robert Pattinson, 40, returning as Bruce Wayne.
Earlier this month, director Matt Reeves stepped away for personal reasons and Ocean's Eleven director Steven Soderbergh took over. Robert Pattinson said, "I am so happy he's come on to help Matt. It's incredibly generous of him - and he's doing it in the loveliest way. It's completely selfless."
The cast also includes Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, Jeffrey Wright and Scarlett Johansson, and the film remains slated for release in February 2028.
