The First Dates restaurant opens its doors again tonight, bringing a Traitors star and a controversial TikTokker who are both seeking romance.

The fresh series also sees maître d' Fred Sirieix, 54, re-uniting with a fan-favourite waitress.

Channel 4 disclosed that Traitors participant Meryl Williams, 30, hopes to find love and will appear on the new First Dates lineup.

Viewers will recall she won the first civilian series of the BBC hit in 2022 alongside Aaron Evans and Hannah Byczkowski.

Joining Meryl is TikTok creator Danielle Stockley, known as DaniBabes69, who also heads to the First Dates venue.

In a video message she said she wants a "six foot tall man" who is "fit with abs" and "sexy and fun", adding she expects her date to "pay the bill".

The 24-year-old controversial TikTok star, who has also featured on Netflix's reality show Outside, previously admitted she "lies to men" and tells them she's "a virgin" to get them into bed.

The new First Dates series also welcomes back fan-favourite waitress Laura Trott, 41.

The TV personality announced in 2021 that she left the show after it moved from London to Manchester; filming now takes place in Bath.

Channel 4 announced earlier this week that Laura is returning, saying it was great to have "the old gang back together" and that she was "so, so happy to be back".

She will be joined by her First Dates BFF and fellow waitress Cici Coleman, 40, who also returns for the new series.

Commenting on her friend's return after five years, the delighted star said: "The family couldn't be more excited to have you back".

The new series of First Dates kicks off tonight at 10pm on Channel 4
