Mon Missel is a must-see at Newcastle. Jamie Snowden's youngster impressed with a third-place finish at Stratford on his debut earlier this month. He was only beginning to accelerate at the finish, and Newcastle's long straight should suit him perfectly.
JENTOBELLO (3.01 Newcastle, nb)
He has performed well in novice company and took the lead at Kelso on his last outing. Now stepping up to handicap level, he still has room to improve and is ideally suited to the extended two-mile distance.
CAWTHORNE CRACKER (2.01 Newcastle, treble)
With a win and two placings in his last three starts, he was narrowly beaten in a photo finish at Sedgefield previously. He should be competitive again, even carrying 4 lb more.
