Fallon Sherrock plans to spoil her son Rory and buy a house after banking a £501,000 jackpot by defeating world number one Luke Littler.

The Queen of the Palace competed against the teenage star in a one-leg shootout during the Netflix special Beat Luke Littler on Friday night. Sherrock and other non-professionals faced the young star in front of millions of live viewers, with a £501,000 prize promised to the first person who beat him.

The 32-year-old former hairdresser was among the most prominent names on the 24-person longlist. Her participation in the amateur contest drew attention because of her professional darts background. Her nickname comes from being the only female player to win a match in the World Darts Championship at Ally Pally.

She won the bull-off to throw first against Littler, scored a 180, and finished with double tops on her next visit to claim the cash. When asked about the prize, Sherrock said she would spoil Rory and likely buy a house, joking that it depended on taxes. She appeared close to tears after holding her nerve against the defending back-to-back world champion.

Celebrations continued at the 2,500-seater Manchester Central Convention Complex. Regarding weekend plans, Sherrock joked she would celebrate that night and take each day as it comes. She described the money as life-changing, noting that people often assume she has more money than she actually possesses.

Sherrock celebrated her victory with a glass of bubbly, sharing a picture of herself sipping champagne with friends and family. She is scheduled to compete at the Worlds later this year, raising the possibility of a rematch against Littler.
