Eurovision champion Dara, who won the contest in May with the high-energy song "Bangaranga," told an exclusive interview she could assist the United Kingdom by joining as a songwriter.
She said, "They can take me as a songwriter if they want," adding that she liked what the UK did and was unsure why the country scored low in the voting. Dara advised, "The best advice I can give is just focus on the three minutes on stage." She also revealed she manifested her win over nine months, writing daily journal entries such as "I'm a winner because I'm healthy," "I'm a winner because I feel loved," and "I'm a winner because the sun is out."
Dara hinted she may soon relocate to the UK with her husband, stating, "I can easily see myself living in London. I said to my husband, 'Let's sell the apartment. I need to go.'" She noted the presence of many talented individuals in London across music, fashion, photography, and videography.
Following her Eurovision success, Dara released her first post-contest single, the anthemic track "Bad Idea." She described it as different, with a "super big chorus" and more minimalistic verses, and mentioned she has around 40 demos to decide which will appear on her upcoming album.
