Two Cal Poly students, Lilianne Burke and Zoey Archibald, both 19, were reportedly struck by a Tesla driven by a drunk fraternity brother who was speeding, then left the scene, according to a newly filed lawsuit. The complaint says the women were left on the street "like run over garbage."
The incident occurred while the two women were walking with friends in California. The lawsuit claims the driver, identified as a fraternity member, was intoxicated and traveling at high speed before the collision.
After the crash, the driver allegedly fled without providing assistance, prompting the filing of a civil suit seeking damages.
The legal filing details the alleged negligence and demands compensation for the injuries sustained by Burke and Archibald.
