Hollywood fans could become neighbours of Sydney Sweeney if they can spend £13 million on a private island.
Howell Key, a 10-acre island close to Summerland Key in the Florida Keys, is now for sale, promising an off-grid luxury retreat with a five-bedroom residence.
The island includes a sandy beach, helipad, pool and a pickleball court.
Sydney Sweeney, 29, bought a £9.7 million mansion on neighboring Summerland Key in 2024, featuring six bedrooms, a wine room, elevator, gym and aquarium.
Listing agent Lisa Ferringo of Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate says Howell Key is ready for occupancy with no renovations required.
The sellers acquired the island in 2012 and completed the 3,352 sq ft main house in 2015.
Access is limited to boat or helicopter, yet the island is only a five-minute ride from Summerland Key.
Off-grid systems comprise solar panels, batteries, a desalination unit for drinking water, a septic system and a backup generator.
Glass walls flood the interior with natural light and provide panoramic sea views.
According to the listing, cathedral ceilings feature fans, tile floors and an open kitchen with island seating.
The sale includes full furnishings, so the buyer need not purchase any items.
"It's 100 percent turnkey - the art, the dishes, the linens," listing agent Lisa Ferringo told Mansion Global. "What you see is what you get."
A separate guest wing, reachable via a covered walkway, offers a living room, breakfast bar and two private bedrooms for visitors.
Exterior amenities feature a saltwater pool, sandy beach, private dock, fire pit, outdoor kitchen and dining balconies.
Ferringo said: "The pool is beautiful. It ranks up there with the nicest hotel pools."
The property also includes a rolling pasture previously used for goats and chickens.
Included in the purchase are a 21-ft Sea Hunter fishing boat, a barge, a tractor and a golf cart.
Potential buyers should note the island's vulnerability to storms.
In September 2017, Hurricane Irma, a Category 4 storm, hit the Florida Keys, causing severe storm surges, power loss and over 1,000 home destructions.
To resist such events, the house sits about 10 ft above base flood level and features a standing-seam metal roof with impact-rated windows and doors.
