## Article

Georgia Louise Davies, 31, abandoned a £27,000 trainee solicitor role to post outfit photos on Instagram. Five years later, she runs a multi-million pound business from her Welsh home and commands 1.7 million followers.

Her journey began in Brighton, where she studied law at City University of London and accrued credit-card debt. She later described how her father's alcoholism and death at 15 left her family financially strained.

After graduating, Davies earned £27,000 in her first year at a Bristol law firm. When the pandemic hit, she was furloughed and turned to Instagram, sharing mirror selfies of high-street brands like ASOS and Zara with 8,000 followers.

She joined the affiliate platform LTK, earning £10 in her first week. Within six months she was making the same amount as her solicitor salary in a single month, eventually surpassing the firm's top partners.

In 2020, Davies quit her legal job and handed in her notice on the day she qualified, keeping her non-practising certificate for safety. She now employs three women to manage her account and is the highest earner on LTK.

During a 2023 honeymoon in Mexico, Davies launched the tanning brand Tandae. In its second year, the brand generated over £2 million. Her husband Rhys left a sales role to become the company's managing director.

Davies credits her husband for teaching her budgeting and financial control. She says, "Rhys didn't necessarily get me out of that situation, but he taught me how to manage my money and take control of my finances."

She has also collaborated with high-street labels such as Abercrombie & Fitch and Karen Millen, and recently treated herself to a Hermès Birkin handbag while encouraging Rhys to buy an Audi R8.

Looking forward, Davies aims to develop her presenting skills and hopes to secure a TV role, possibly on ITV's "This Morning". She said, "I would love to dabble in TV and see what I can achieve that side of things."
