The sides played out an entertaining 2-2 draw in the Carabao Cup fourth round on Wednesday, with Enzo Maresca's side sneaking through to the next round on penalties. The Italian manager will be hoping for a similar outcome this weekend following last weekend's defeat to Aston Villa, their first Premier League loss of the season. City won 12 of their first 14 Premier League matches against Brighton, but haven't beaten the Seagulls in 90 minutes in any of their last five meetings in all competitions. Brighton will also be looking for a response after their first league defeat of the season against Liverpool. Fabian Hurzeler's side remain in third spot, having scored more goals than any other side in the Premier League this season, but are winless in their last three in all competitions. ## The Offer for Man City vs Brighton Sign up before kick-off to secure a £30 free bet package for this Premier League clash. - Bet £5 > **Get £15 in Free Bets** - Bet £10 > **Get £30 in Free Bets** Simply click our link and the bet365 bonus code **SUN365** will be applied automatically. It's been a while since Manchester City beat Brighton inside 90 minutes, but there's good reason to think they can end that mini drought on Saturday afternoon. Brighton's away form is perhaps the most notable factor. The Seagulls have never won in 16 away league games against Manchester City, while they've lost four of their last six top-flight matches on the road. The bulk of Enzo Maresca's side were rested for their midweek victory, with nine changes made to the starting XI that lost to Aston Villa. The likes of Erling Haaland, Ruben Dias, Elliot Anderson and Josko Gvardiol will all return fresh, which spells danger given City have won their last 10 league matches on Halloween.
